Lobuje East Peak Climbing is situated at 6090m elevation from sea level. This peak is a famous peak climbing in Nepal; the Peak is situated immediately above the Lobuche village in Khumbu Region, not far from the peak climbing in Nepal, only a few kilometres closer to the way of this world’s highest mountain. Lobuche is also known as Lobuche Mountain and it comprises of two different peaks. Lobuche East Peak, at an elevation of 6090m and Lobuche (Lobuche) West Peak (considered a separate mountain) at 6135m. There is a substantial distance between these two peaks although an uneven and unbroken ridge connects them. Both these peaks are spectacular and very similar in geometry, shaping a three-ridged pyramid on each, Lobuche East however is 45m (148ft) lower than west. On 25 April 1984, the first to climb to Lobuche East were Laurence Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa. And while Lobuche Mountain is likely to have been climbed by others before, there is no available evidence. Lobuche East offers everything a climber would look for from climbing this peak in this amazing valley. This attractive mountain of Lobuche offers a range of obtainable routes and also a possible for new ones. Climbing involves some steep and slippery rocks, slabs and snow slopes to reach the south west ridge, which is immediately under the glacier. As the climbers move ahead to the peak, the final expedition ascent is sharp and open ridge. The peak to the Lobuche east, dependent on the seasons, has a need of climbing with angle of 60 to 65 degrees with some late snow or ice climbing, consequently making the climb demanding and an exciting experience. The views from the top offer unbelievably scenery. It is such an amazing sight to see the massive Mt. Everest is enclosed by several other Himalayan giants like: Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Pumori Cho-Oyu and deep into Tibet. Nepal Mountaineering Association has formally graded Lobuche Peak as a group “B” trekking peak. The climbing experience will be something you will cherish for a lifetime.
