On your first day of arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our office staff will receive you and transfer you to a hotel around the Thamel area. In the evening there is the introduction and detailed briefing about the Lumba Sumba Pass Trek, and after that, you can explore Thamel, which is the main tourist hub in Kathmandu Valley. Early in the morning, After breakfast, we will take a domestic flight to Biratnagar and then a private vehicle to Taplejung. The road passes Dharan, an ancient pilgrimage site, Vedetar, the Tamor River, Ganesh Chok (Singapur), and Taplejung. The majority of the road is tarmac, although there are some off-road sections as well. Taplejung is around 6/7 hours away from Biratnagar. On the way to Taplejung, we'll stop for lunch and tea coffee in a local restaurant. We will stay overnight at a local guest house in Taplejung.

In the morning, we'll take a private vehicle from Taplejung to Helek. Taplejung is a 4/5 hour trip. Because the road is completely off-road, it might be bumpy in places. We'll start by crossing the Tamor River and climbing up to the Lelep Sherpa village. Lelep is a tiny settlement. Our team will set up the Tent for the night.

We begin our trek at the start of a new day, following the trail that pleasantly descends to the Tamor River, and after crossing the river, the trail ascends on a difficult and rocky road. Today's trek continues along the north bank of the Tamor River, we will cross a suspension bridge twice and after an hour will get road construction. Today is not a long day after a couple of hours get into Olangchung Gola, which is a Tibetan culture village where you can get handmade Rug and many other handicrafts stuff too. This Rug is one of the leading businesses in this village, they make it by themselves and sell it to China or tourists. There is also a huge ancient monastery because the People of the Olangchung Gola follow the Buddhist culture and traditions.

We follow the jeep road till Dinga Samba, after that, the way goes to Tibet, and nowadays, Tibetan jeep comes to Olangchung Gola via this road. After, the Dinga Samba trail leads to the left-west direction to the Lumba Sumba trek, where we have to cross the river and climb up to Samjung. The trail is a stone step to Samjung.

Today after breakfast, the Lumba Sumba trek continues along the bank of the river in the north direction. After we arrive in the alpine area there are no more trees, till the Laza trail is a stone step. Today is a tough day because it is a high-pass day. After having breakfast early in the morning we will slowly move towards the Lumba Sumba Pass trek. After 10 minute walk we will cross the river take a west direction and start the climb steep ascent. On the way, you can see Mt. Kanchenjunga and Mt. Kumbhakarna All of Kanchenjunga Himal Range, and Janak Mountain Range. Enjoying the amazing view of the massive mountain we will continue to climb up to Lumba Sumba 1st pass, from here you can see the panoramic Kanchenjunga mountain range and many mountain ranges on the Tibetan ( China ) side. After 1st pass, a 45-minute straight trail arrived 2nd and on the high pass, from here you can see many eight thousand mountains like; Mt. Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Sagarmatha (Everest), Chamlang, and many more. After crossing the Lumba Sumba pass we will get down to Gumba Lejen, which takes us around 2 /3 hours to reach and we will set our camp there.

Today is a short day of Lumba Sumba Trek to go down to Thudam. Thudam is a small village where an Ethnic group of Bhote people. They are living such a simple life. Some of the oldest people don't understand the Nepali language either. They have their traditional dress and language. Sometimes they will show cultural dance, and in the end, you have to give some tips to them. On the way to Thudam, we can see the beautiful Landscape, Mountain View, and Experience the local Culture as well.

The next day the trail goes gently down in the first hour and after that steep climb up to Kejung Dada 3378m and again steep down an hour and walk through the deep forest up and down the trail. Chhunjam is also called Yak Kharka too. There is a campsite which is inside the jungle area.

At the beginning of today’s trek gradually we will climb up and after that route goes a few ups and downs after a couple of hours' walk inside the lush rhododendron forest the route goes steeply down to Arun River, which is one of the longest rivers in Nepal, which is only one river that comes from Tibet. After that, the trek to Lingam gradually goes upwards. Bhote people have settlements in this place. They have their culture and traditions.

We start our day by trekking along the Arun River's banks till we come to the confluence of the Arun and Baru rivers called Barun Dovan. Barun Dovan is a Buddhist, Hindu Pilgrimage place. We keep going in the direction of Gola, which is a Bhote, Gurung, Tamang, and Rai settlement. After that, We will drive the vehicle to Chichila. A completely off-road motorway passes via numerous locations on its route to Chichila.

During Lumba Sumba, the trek includes a hotel and tent on the cost. In Kathmandu, we provide a 3-star hotel with twin-sharing B/B rooms as an itinerary, but in Kathmandu, clients must take their lunch and dinner by themselves. During the trek, we provide Tent Camp with twin-sharing bases and three meals a day. On the camping location, our staff will set up tents for our clients, throughout the journey. However, as per our company policy, there will be an additional fee for a single supplement if someone wants a single room or tent.
Food:
In Kathmandu your breakfast is included in the cost, but lunch and dinner are not included, which you have to take care of by yourself. After Kathmandu, the entire trekking period will include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and two times (morning and evening) tea or coffee. Also, if you let us know in advance if you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or lactose-free, we can make accommodations as you require.
Guides and Porters:
Your safety is our top priority, which is why we only use trekking guides who are government-licensed and have extensive expertise in the field. All of our trekking guides have a lot of experience, are excellent with people, and speak English fluently. Our guide and staff are much more dedicated to making your trek successful in Nepal. Our guides will assist you if you run into any difficulties while trekking. Depending on the size of the group during trekking, there will be one guide and one assistant guide if there are more than four people in the group. Every two clients will have a porter to help them carry their luggage.
Fitness:
