On your first day of arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, office staff will receive you and transfer you to a three-star hotel in Thamel. After the rest, in the evening introduction and detailed briefing, after briefing, you can explore Thamel, which is the main tourist hub in Kathmandu city. On the second day, we woke up early in the morning after breakfast, we moved to the Sermathang by public bus. On the way to Sermathang, we pass through Sankhu, Jarsing Pauwa, Melamchi Pul, Talamarang, Timbu, and many other places. Drive to the Sermathang goes through the banks of the Indravati River and also along with the many villages and the field, and trail gradually upwards. On the way, we can see different cultures, traditions, and village life and It took us around 6–7 hours to reach Sermathang.

On the third day, early in the morning, we had breakfast and started trekking to Chyomothang. On the first day of trekking, we went to the dense forest, and on the way, there was an army camp where we had to register. After a couple of hours of walking, we reached Chyomothynag. This place is located at around 3200 meters above sea level. We will rest there for a short time, and after lunch, we will move on to the short hike and a viewpoint that is called Aama Yangri Peak. This peak is located at 3771 meters above sea level. Aama Yangri is also known as a protector goddess. People from the Buddhist community have deep faith in Aama Yangri. After about an hour and a half of walking, we reached Aama Yangri Peak. This place is a perfect vantage point for the Himalayas and the beautiful valley. And then we'll return to Chyomothang, where we'll set up camp for the night.

The sacred place of Guru Padmasambhava is called Dukpu. Additionally, there is a cave called Guru Padmasambhava Cave. Numerous lamas travel there every year to meditate. The trek to Dukpu goes through dense Rhododendron, pine trees, and many more. Chyomothang to Dukpu is approximately a 6–7-hour walk with amazing views of the Helambu Valley and mesmerizing views of the mountains. There are many yak sheds in Dukpu and we will also camp there overnight.

There is a certain distance between Dukpu to Yangri Kharka and the trek goes through different fauna and flora and different landscapes. The trail still follows the mountain range and has short ups and downs. On the way to Yangri Kharka, there is a place called Keldang Phu, which is also Yak Kharka, you can also see many yak sheds. On summer days, people bring their yaks over there, and they stay with their yaks for a few months. Kledang Phu is a wide place, and it is also a good place for camping. After walking for 7–8 hours, we reached Yangri Khola. This place is a wide and very flat valley and there is also a river that is called Yangri Khola. So this place is very good for camping. From there, you can also see the Ganjala Pass, Naya Khang Peak, and Ganjala Chuli.

After the rest and acclimatization in Yangri Khola, we will move today to the base camp of Naya Khang Peak. It is a short hike to Basecamp from Yangri Khola. The trail is well-managed and smooth, and it gains slightly in height with the zig-zag trail. On this trail, you will see only a moraine landscape and some parts of the beautiful Helambu and Panch Pokhari valleys.

Today is the big day and tough day of this trip. Around 1 or 2 a.m., wake up, we eat something after that we start our climbing. We will carry hot water and pack food with us. A mountain guide will lead and fix the rope where needed. We have to steep climb for around 8 to 9 hours, After ascending Naya Khang, you will have a stunning view from the summit. Shishapangma, over 8000m high in Tibet, Langtang Ri, Langtang Lerung, many more mountain views, and a beautiful landscape view from Naya Khang. After taking photos and enjoying the view, we will safely return to base camp

These extra days are only for those who cannot go to the summit as scheduled because of the weather. So, we can go to the summit on contingency day. Otherwise, we do not rest this day and continue our trek down. But if we don't use the contingency day, that day is not going to count on further trek days.

Today is also the hardest day of this trek, as we have to cross the Ganjala Pass, which is 5130m above sea level. And where we have to find our trail because there is no proper trail like in previous days. Today we have to walk only on the huge rock boulders, moraines, and some snowy and icy paths. So we wake up early in the morning, and after breakfast, we will move slowly to the Ganjala pass, the trek going harder, and a couple hours later we will be on the pass, and from there you can see the beautiful Langtang Valley and Kyanjin village and an amazing view of the mountain range, and Mt. Dorje Lakpa is just standing in front of our sight. After clicking some pictures, we moved down towards Basecamp. On this side also, the trail is the same; we will move down carefully, and a couple of hours later, we’ll reach the base camp, where we will set up camp for an overnight stay.

Basecamp to Langtang is a trek that only descends. We're close to the inhabited area. But it is also still an alpine zone. There, we can see different fauna and flora. By crossing the Langtang River, we reach Kyanjin Gompa. Kyanjin Village is huge pastureland with Buddhist monasteries, stupas, and Buddhist culture, and after the earthquake, it is no less than a city, where everything is available for tourists. After resting a few times in Kyanjin, we moved down to Langtang village. Before the 2015 earthquake, this place had an amazing village with traditional houses. But unfortunately, the earthquake washed everything away. Now the locals built their house again, and they started to live there. So we also have an overnight stay in Langtang village.

On this day, we woke up early in the morning, and after breakfast, we moved down to the Sherpa Gaun. Trekking to Sherpa Gaun is a very smooth and easy trek. The trail goes up and down through the jungle of different trees, along with the Langtang River, mountains, hills, and Buddhist culture, a couple of hours later we reached a Sherpa village. After reaching Sherpa Gaun, you can find the motorway as well. This village is located 2580 m above sea level. In this village, you can see Sherpa's culture and traditions.

On this particular day, we descended to Syabrubesi after breakfast. The journey to Syabrubesi is excellent, This place is located in Narrow Gorge, but highly developed location. Today we trekked is a stroll through the thick forest and hills and during this trek, we may learn about Tamang and Sherpa cultures here.
On the last day of our trek, we rode the Jeep back to Kathmandu. It's going to take us 7 to 8 hours from Syabrubesi to Kathmandu. In this way, we can see the different hilly views, different lifestyles, and rustic villages along the Trishuli River.

This trek goes through stunning waterfalls, high mountains, magnificent and colorful Rhododendron jungle, and a variety of other wonderful natural features. Trek goes through the beautiful It is fairly difficult only on the pass, which requires some basic climbing skills. While climbing Naya Khang Peak we climbed the last 100 meters up a steep, bouldering, sometimes snowy path after initially following streams and then continuing over rocks. The pass offers a magnificent view of the Helambu and Langtang valleys and snow-capped mountains.
The spring (March to May) and fall (September to December) seasons are the best times to go Ganja La Pass trekking and Naya Khang Peak climbing. These months provide consistent weather, a clear sky, and mild temperatures that make for great visibility and pleasant trekking conditions.
It requires a climbing permit from the NMA( Nepal Mountaineering Association) and the TIMS (Trekkers' Information Management System) card, as well as an entry permit for Langtang National Park. These permits can be obtained from the Nepal Tourism Board and TAAN in Kathmandu.

Accommodation:
During the Naya Khang Expedition, the cost includes a hotel and a tent. We provide a 3-star hotel with B/B rooms on a twin-sharing basis in Kathmandu and a guest house with twin-sharing beds in Langtang Valley. You will have two people sharing a dome tent. Our staff will set up tents on the campsite and during the climbing period, and our climbing guide will manage the tents and all accommodations. However, if somebody would like to have a single room and tent, there will be an extra charge as a single supplement as per our company rules.
Food:
During your stay in Kathmandu, you will get breakfast at a cost; lunch and dinner must be covered on your own. After Kathmandu, you will get breakfast, lunch, dinner, and tea or coffee on the whole trip. If you are a vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or lactose-free, we can work around that if you let us know ahead of time. During the camping trek period and in the base camp, we have our kitchen staff who will prepare a variety of food.
Guides and Porters:
A government-licensed trekking guide or mountain guide will lead the trekking trail, and the climbing period will be led by a mountain guide. All our guides have experience on the trails and are passionate about the tourism industry. Our guides and porters are dedicated to making your experience of trekking in Nepal memorable. If there’s any worry during your trek, our guides will address it. Your safety is our number one priority. For groups of more than four people, there will be one guide and another assistant guide, depending on the size of the group during a trekking period. There will be 1 guide for every 3 climbers in a climbing period. There will be one porter for every two trekkers to carry their luggage during the trek. For the camping crew, we’ll need more porters to hold the food, kitchen equipment, tents, etc.
Fitness:
Naya Khang is 5863m above sea level; if you are planning to climb Naya Khan, you should be fit physically and mentally. We would like to recommend starting fitness 3 months before the expedition to be fit for Naya Khan Peak climbing. Some tips for fit physicality include taking a morning walk or running every day for at least one hour, hiking a day a week, and climbing indoors or outdoors frequently. We do not recommend gym exercises for climbing fitness.
Acclimatization/Experience:
Naya Khan peak climbing leads us high into the Himalayas; it is necessary to let our bodies sufficiently get used to the altitude. Our trip has acclimatization days built into the itinerary. It is best to take it slowly to prevent altitude sickness. On average, expect to walk an average of 5 to 6 hours per day while on the trek.
Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend having travel insurance before going on the Naya Khan Peak climb. We do our best to take care of you, but something can happen that is out of our control. In case of a medical emergency leading to a helicopter evacuation, it is best to have insurance. Be sure that your insurance covers accidents abroad and high in the mountains. We will get our porter, staff, and mountain guide accident and rescue insurance from our company.
As long as the change is submitted at least 60 days before the commencement of the tour, climbing Himalaya will let you adjust the dates of your trip.
If you cancel, let Climbing Himalaya know 30 days before departure, and you can transfer current funds to a future tour to avoid cancellation costs.
